GOES Transmission Errors

Good morning,

One of my stations isn't polling in KiDAT and when I looked the data looked like below.  Has anyone ever encountered this or if know if it may be my problem? Thanks, Michael

Hey Michael,

The question mark in the header means you've got a parity error when it was recieved by DAPS.  For more information on the header format, check out this link: http://eddn.usgs.gov/dcpformat.html

The data looks good until it hits the WN parameter.  Not sure if this is being logged or not but if it's based on a SHEF code it would by dissolved nitrogen (http://www.wmo.int/pages/prog/hwrp/qmf-h/documents/qmsdoc/qSOP-Eng-LevelQ3/qSOP-NA034-02-2011%20Water%20Survey%20Approved%20SHEF%20codes.pdf).

Is dissolved nitrogen being measured at this site?  Was the data logger configuration changed in the last 72 hours (the older data still looks good)?
