Hi all,

I'll be meeting with the MOECC water quality coordinator to review and implement a complete, standardized, list of all possible unique parameters & their assigned analysis methods for both historic and current data. The goal here is to eliminate any possible mismatches or wasted time by groups attempting to build up a parameter list required for their sites.

I will be following up on this post after I meet with folks in a few weeks, but would be interested in any initial feedback regarding this initiative should folks have some direction for the meeting.

Hi all KiWQM-ers,

Attached below is the FULL unique MOECC Parameter / Analysis Method / Unit combination data set, kindly provided by Grace Arabian of the MOECC. This can be considered as the correct Master list for all surface water quality parameters, methods, and units for the PWQMN program.

This includes both historic and current data. Before importing all the parameters, I strongly suggest identifying the time period your data ranges from and filtering based on that, as well as double checking the unit for each parameter / method combination. Note that some parameter/methods are listed twice as there are multiple reporting units associated with their results.

This list would be very useful to standardize and quality assure your existing WQ parameter dataset, as well be used as a master import to build a new system.
