Not much action on the User Group for some time....

Is the CoCoRAS converter still being thought about?

Hi Steve,

Would definitely be interested in access to the CocoRaHs network once the KiDAT task has been developed. Very timely with the recent integration of the Radar tools.

Water Quality / Sign 94572
Last post by smacleod - July 13, 2020, 12:00:15 PM
I have noticed that some of my result values have a "Sign" value of "94572" associated with them.  I cannot find a definition of this in the metadata, would anyone know that it is? When I try to export these values or view them through the filter they are not shown, the value is however displayed if you click the blank entry in the table.  If the sign value is changed to (---) the result value can then be viewed/exported. I would also love to know make this change to the result values in my measuring program.

KiDAT / CoCoRaHS KiDAT Task
Last post by SteveWKISTERS - May 11, 2020, 09:38:06 AM
Hi All,

This is to gauge the community's interest in access to a CoCoRaHS task / converter. If you already have access to one, please comment on this post so that we aren't redeveloping anything. Otherwise, a shareable task / workflow is anticipated in the near future.

WISKI / Re: Using R to create a dashbo...

After some modifications and tests, we are on to version 4!

https://quinteconservationwiski.shinyapps.io/DamOperationsDashboardV4/

There were issues with the slider for filtering on the far most left column ending up off the screen when displaying it on an iPhone, so you can now rearrange the column by dragging and dropping them in a new order so that you can access the slider for the column you need.

This idea could be used not only for tables, but also for graphs.

I think that many people would benefit from the creation of a dashboard to handle their DPC rather then the clunky Excel spreadsheets that seem to be common place around the Hub (personal opinion only).

WISKI / Using R to create a dashboard ...
Last post by massimo.narini - December 13, 2019, 03:43:41 PM
Hi everyone,

for those of you that are interested in viewing your data in different ways that are NOT within the WISKI environment, this may be of interest to you!

I have created a "Dam Operations Dashboard", which effectively allows our dam operators to have access to their data in table format from both historical data and the new data that is being imported to WISKI through Survey 123.

The link is here: https://quinteconservationwiski.shinyapps.io/Dam_Operations_V1/

It was created using R Statistical Program, a few different packages that are associated with it and KIWIS. I am sure there are potentially easier or more efficient ways of doing this, but I am proficient in R and know that I can fix this if it does malfunction, uses open source software and is fairly customizable if others would like something similar.

Each dam has its own tab, with each table being searchable, filterable by column and the time frame can be selected. It is not the fastest to load, but it is bringing in data from 2000 to current, so that kind of makes sense. It is also pulling data from a local CSV file until we are able to grab comments from a TS using KIWIS.

If anyone is interested in this code or understanding what is possible, feel free to get in touch with me and we can see what we can do!
