WISKI / Line of Best Fit Agent
February 01, 2018, 11:15:19 AM
Good morning,

Does anyone know if there is an agent that does line of best fit that may have help to predict future values in a time series.

Thanks!

KiDAT / Re: Web Scraping Fisheries and Oceans Data
January 23, 2018, 12:08:47 PM
Thanks Steve!

Would anyone happen to have the most updated version of KiDAT that  I can download onto my computer (not the WISKI Computer)? I can import some tasks but not others which makes me think I don't have the latest version.

Thanks!

KiDAT / Re: GOES Hopper Task Discussion

@cmcguire, maybe I would have to play around with it. Where would I add this task, to the one we remote connect to on WISKI or one that would be on my regular desktop?

KiDAT / Web Scraping Fisheries and Oceans Data
January 17, 2018, 03:17:31 PM
How difficult is it to web scrape and have the data go into WISKI using KiDAT. I am trying to get the St. Lawrence River Water Levels from this site to go into WISKI. How difficult would this be based on your experience @cmcguire ? Is there any help documents that you can send me to?

Sorry Chris,

I have also not  Survey 123 or Collector.  I am interested to lean how people automatically sync with WISKI over Wifi at the office with their forms.

That is a good question! I think it still says we are all newbies.

Hi Steve,

I have this all figured out, thanks.

Hey Steve,

I see you have been added to the Forum! I have not investigated this in a while and have not tried to reconnect. It was a logger that Carleton University had at a research site, but I never got all the parameters from them.

KiDAT / GOES Transmission Errors
July 25, 2017, 09:14:20 AM
Good morning,

One of my stations isn't polling in KiDAT and when I looked the data looked like below.  Has anyone ever encountered this or if know if it may be my problem? Thanks, Michael

Automated Sensing / SNC Monitoring Stations
May 31, 2017, 01:42:48 PM
I thought this would be something good to share with everyone.

SNC had FTS here for 2 weeks installing equipment and now almost all of our PGMN wells are on GOES telemetry and coming into WISKI.  In total we had Axiom 9 FTS loggers, 4 GOES Hoppers, 10 soil moisture probes, 5 All weather precipitation gauges, 8 air temperature sensors and 8 barometric pressure loggers installed at our PGMN stations.

I included a sample photo of one of our sites, which has an FTS logger, 3 soil moisture probes, 1 all weather precipitation gauge, 1 air temperature sensor and 1 barometric pressure logger.

SODA / Re: Adding a Polling Station in SODA
March 28, 2017, 09:27:33 AM
Thanks Chris.

I was looking on SODA and there is a connection for a Campbell, would that not be the same thing? I am not exactly sure what terminal emulator or loggernet are.  I will need to look those up.

Thanks,
Michael

SODA / Adding a Polling Station in SODA
March 27, 2017, 01:39:16 PM
Hello,

I am trying to add a Campbell Scientific to SODA.  Does anybody know everything I would need from them in order for SODA to poll it?  Will it be different because the rest of our loggers are FTS and Sutron.   ::)

Do I need to know what they are calling their parameters? (E.g., we call water level HG – is there a chance that they could call it WL?)

Thank you.

SODA / Re: Polling station with data gap

Thanks Chris.  It is actually up and running now,but good to know the gap in the data doesn't effect anything.

SODA / Polling station with data gap
March 06, 2017, 03:05:55 PM
Hello,

One of my stations stopped polling for a few weeks because the data logger stopped working.  A new data logger was installed with the same parameters (e.g., same baud rate).

I can't seem to get the station polling again in SODA, does anyone have any recommendations?  Does the data gap effect the polling at all?  Thank you.
